MEET THE MEMBERS
WANDA JOY DODD
Wanda is not your typical Gospel Singer. She sang in bars for over 16 years before she met the Lord on Feb. 4, 2007 and He changed her life!
With a desire to learn more about her Savior, she attended Gwinnett Hall Bible College where she earned her degree in Biblical Education in 2015.
Her greatest joy is being able to share Jesus in song! She loves the Lord and loves to tell others about Him through her music, which she has been doing as a soloist since 2009. She has written and recorded several songs, which may be purchased at https://wandajoy.square.site/cds
She and Billy have been married since 1997 and they love serving the Lord together! Billy can be seen setting up and breaking down the equipment at each singing.
DANNY HOWELL
Danny has been in Gospel music over 75 years! He has served as a Choir Director in different churches over 42 years, and has been singing Southern Gospel in trios and quartets since he was a little boy. In the 1970's, he was honored to sing on The 700 Club television program.
He was also proud to have had a radio program called America's Homespun Gospel, which was on the air from 2000 to 2015. Not only was it aired locally, but it was picked up by 5 stations in Australia.
God spared his life when he was just a child, and Danny soon realized that God had a purpose for Him. He enjoys singing for the Lord.
He and his wife, Virginia, were high school sweethearts that parted ways in college and were reunited and married in 2014.
CHER HAMMOND SMITH
Cher grew up a Preachers Kid, and sang with her family when she was just a little girl. Her daddy was Rev. Roy Hammond. Chers' fondest memories are of her daddy preaching, and her singing with her mama and sister. She said "Daddy'd be singing, then he'd get happy and start preaching", then he'd start singing. It was great growing up with an old fashioned preacher daddy and a praying mama".
She married her best friend, Doyle, in 1984. She loves the Lord and spending time with her kids and grandchildren. She knows where she's going, and is looking forward to that glad reunion day!
